It's not an easy hike, but it's worth it...a stunning view awaits you at the top of Rattlesnake Ledge. If you are interested in a more gradual ascent with the same sweeping views, visit another Greenway kiosk at the trailhead on the northwest side of Rattlesnake Mountain. From the top, you'll look out over miles of protected landscape of Seattle's Cedar River Watershed. Over a century ago, visionary Seattle leaders proposed purchasing and protecting the entire drainage of the Cedar River, where Seattle gets its drinking water. Today, this landscape is also great wildlife habitat - increasingly important in our fast-growing region.
