This mountain may look like an impenetrable fortress of solid rock, but it is actually quite fragile. Every year thousands of hikers scramble to the top and the impact takes its toll on wildlife habitat. You can help keep this spectacular area in good condition by staying on the established trail and keeping pets on a leash.
