A Day in and Around: Carnation
Come experience rural King County at it's finest and enjoy some hands on fun with mountain biking or hiking at Tolt-MacDonald Park, berry picking at Blue Dog Farm, and pumpkin Gathering at Jubilee Farm.
- History: Experience the farming heritage of Carnation at the weekly Farmers Market. Visit the Vincent Schoolhouse, built in 1905, then learn about 14th century England at the Camlann Medieval Village.
- Recreation: Mountain bike, hike, or camp at Tolt-MacDonald Park or go hiking, running, or biking on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail.
- Arts, Shopping, and Food: There are so many nearby farms to choose from! Collect Pick organic blueberries at the very popular Blue Dog Farm. Take the kids to the large Remlinger Farms which has U-Pick fields, gift shop, wagon rides, harvest festival, and a restaurant. If you want to get away for something a little more refined but still connected to the land enjoy a locavore dinner on the farm prepared by a chef at Dog Mountain Farm.
