This trail accesses the Alpine Lakes Wilderness and connects the Salmon La Sac Trailhead to the Pacific Crest Trail. Day hiking to the river makes a common destination in 3 miles one way. Equestrians enjoy the trail for both day rides and horse packing.

A magnificent walk along four miles of the rushing Cooper River leads to Cooper Lake, a reservoir surrounded by eastern Cascade peaks and forested slopes. Anglers and families alike will enjoy old-growth forest, trout, birds, and wildlife.

This beautiful campground nestled in a grove of large Ponderosa Pine and western Larch trees includes a picnic site and a CCC era picnic shelter. The Sculpture Rock loop trail begins and ends at the campground.

A 1.3-mile (each way) forested trail along the south fork of the Snoqualmie River leads to spectacular views of Twin Falls. To the east of the falls you can also access the Palouse to Cascades Trail, Olallie State Park, and popular rock climbing areas.
