29 Pines Campground

The 29 Pines Campground, located along the North Fork Teanaway River, contains 59 campsites. Campfires are permitted within approved fire rings, unless there is an active burn ban. The campground, which sits at the edge of the Teanaway Community Forest and Forest Service land, is open year-round but is not plowed in the winter.

No potable water. Garbage is not collected: pack out all trash.

Bonus: check out the river restoration kiosk near the camping area entrance to learn more about nearby restoration efforts by the Yakama Nation, Teanaway Community Forest land managers, and Mid-Columbia Fisheries. The Greenway Trust supports education about this work by organizing field trips with local CTE-focused school programs and writing material like kiosk copy and StoryMaps: Restoring The Teanaway River – Mountains To Sound Greenway Trust.

Learn more about river restoration needs, techniques, and successes with this kiosk that the Greenway Trust helped produce.
Students gather habitat data during a Salmon Education Days field trip organized by Mid-Columbia Fisheries and the Greenway Trust along the North Fork by 29 Pines campsites.
