Join us for an Earth Day film festival and panel discussion about resilience on our local landscapes!
The Mountains to Sound Greenway National Heritage (Greenway NHA) is a landscape recognized nationally for its ecological, cultural, and historical significance. Here, we are surrounded by unique ecosystems and groundbreaking projects in water conservation, restoration, and land management.
The 2025 Resilience Film Festival featured 11 short, captioned videos on how communities and local organizations are restoring public lands and our relationships to them in the Greenway NHA. Following the films, there was an ASL-translated panel discussion where attendees asked questions of their neighbors, peers, and CWU alum who are working to advance this important work.
The 2027 Resilience Film Festival will return with another panel discussion and selection of films, including submitted films (<10 minutes) about environmental and cultural resilience in the Greenway NHA.
