WHEN (2024): 
June 27 – July 31, Monday-Friday from 8:30am-3:30pm.
No school on July 4-5.

WHO: Current 9th, 10th, or 11th grade students (or 12th graders who have not yet earned all credits).

WHERE: Meet at the Riverview Learning Center in Carnation.


  • Earn an $1,800 stipend plus a full science credit towards graduation.
  • Receive a Gear Kit that includes work pants, hiking boots and socks, a first aid kit, and more.
  • Safety gear, tools, and transportation between field trip sites are provided.
  • Experience as part of a restoration crew.
  • Explore green careers related to natural resources, conservation, ecological restoration, and land management.
  • Become familiar with Pacific NW plants, including how and why to replace invasive plants with native ones.
  • Engage with restoration professionals from the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, U.S. Forest Service, WA Dept. of Natural Resources, King County, and the Greenway Trust’s professional crews.
