Where to Meet and Parking Information
Google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/PPHmJxqqgeD2 Please plan for about an hour drive from Seattle. From Seattle, drive east on I-90 to exit 34 (Edgewick Road). Turn left (north) onto 468th Ave SE and follow it to the junction with the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Road (Forest Road 56). Turn right and continue up the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Road for 11. 8 miles to the Middle Fork trailhead. Look for Greenway signs and staff.

This Mother's Day weekend, recruit a mom, friend, or fly solo and join the Greenway in celebrating women of all kind by working on the trail together. On May 11, the Greenway Trust will be hosting the first Women in the Woods event of 2019!

The Greenway Trust has offered the Women in the Woods series since 2010 to address the gender gap in the trail community and build community for women-identified and non-binary outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you are a trail pro or are out to try trail work for the first time, Women in the Woods events are a blast.

We will be working on a brand new trail, Garfield Ledges Trail, built by the Greenway Trust and our partners. The group will hike into the project site together, learn proper trail maintenance and building techniques, use trail specific tools, and build a stronger connection to trails. The goal of this event, and the entire Women in the Woods series, is to create a more inclusive and empowered trail community.

Be sure to pre-register for this event – and sign the online waiver – spaces are limited!
