The Issaquah Alps Trails Club is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Club this year.
As part of the celebration, we want to take some time to reflect on the conservation, advocacy and trail building “wins” over the last 40 years on Tiger Mountain. We call the event “Viva la Trails Day.”
We will have a booth and tables at the “Education Shelter” near the parking lot (High Point Trailhead). Some of our partner organizations will be there as well.
Schedule:
10:00 AM Open booth to the public - refreshments, literature, information, swag (continuing throughout the day)
10:00 AM - Family Friendly Hike - Zoe and the Swamp Monster
11:30 AM - Short program with guest speakers to reflect on the Tiger Mountain conservation story
12:00 noon - Nature Walk #1 - Tradition Plateau
2:00 PM - Nature Walk #2 - Tradition Plateau
4:00 PM - End of event
