Union Bay Natural Area Bird Walk
Date & Time Saturday, November 9, 2019
Event OverviewJoin us for a walk through the trails of Yesler Swamp and the Wahkiakum Loop Trail to experience one of the best waterfowl wintering areas. Ducks, geese, grebes, shorebirds, and some resident raptors are all possible. This will be a leisurely two-mile walk along boardwalks and gravel paths, and will be over by early afternoon. Bring binoculars, a snack, water, and dress for weather. Scope is always helpful. Restroom facilities are limited, and we will stop at University Village before birding.
