Event Overview

Join the Greenway in continuing restoring this area of the park by planting native trees and continuing to clear invasive species!

Open to all ages. Participants under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
What to Bring

For safety, volunteers are required to wear:

  • Long pants (we’ll be working with tool s, so no shorts!)
  • Sturdy, close-toed shoes (absolutely no sandals)
  • Gloves (provided)

In addition, we recommend that participants bring:

  • Warm layers, especially during the fall, winter, and spring
  • Rain gear
  • Big sack lunch
  • At least one full water bottle
  • Small daypack for lunch, extra layers, etc…
Driving Directions

Please carpool to the location if possible; there is limited parking space. Zurfleuh Boat Launch is closest place for public to park without access through gate. The boat launch requires a Discover Pass. The gate will be opened by Greenway staff members and they will let you know further directions if needed.
