Celebrate with us on the longest day of the year with the Fremont Arts Council’s most historic celebration art event! We have a new world view “stay at home scope”, meaning limited human contact, a longing for love, small acts of kindness, and making art is our reality now.

In an optimistic effort to create a small fraction of the FSP, we have decided to go virtual. Thanks to the generous support of TPN & NASH (northwest arts streaming hub), offering us a packaged product that will be streamed via FAC Facebook and YouTube on June 20 at 1 pm (Pacific Time). FSP Virtual Event will be a compilation program of prerecorded content made of historical archives, ensembles, art, personal testimonies, and of course our Green Hat Go-Getters lead by Cheer Seattle and friends!

Our FSP Virtual Event theme for 2020 is Past, Present & Future. We are excited to announce our co-hosts Peter Toms, Harper, and Scarlet Parke! Join more than 60 dazzling community-based ensembles as they submit their art! All welcome; drag queens, giant puppets, stilt walkers, floats, dancers, musicians, Green Hat Go-Getters, and more! Together they will create a kaleidoscope of joyous human expression in our virtual program!

What (MADE) the Fremont Solstice Parade unique?

    • EVERYONE CAN BE AN ARTIST. Full participation is completely open to the public.
    • PEOPLE POWERED. No motorized vehicles are allowed
    • ALL ABOUT THE ART. No printed words or logos are allowed. Participants relish the challenge of proclaiming their message through creative expression.
    • FSP Virtual Event 2020 is now accepting submissions that include art cars, pets, words of inspiration and logos affiliated by non-profit organizations only.
