Denny Creek Trail Maintenance
For safety, volunteers are required to wear:
- Long pants (we’ll be working with tools, so no shorts!)
- Sturdy, close-toed shoes (absolutely no sandals)
- Gloves (provided by the Greenway Trust)
In addition, we recommend that participants bring:
- Warm layers
- Sunscreen
- Rain gear
- Big sack lunch
- Water for the day (3 liters minimum)
- Small daypack for lunch, extra layers, etc.

From I-90 (eastbound), take exit 47 for Asahel Curtis/Denny Creek, turn left onto Asahel Curtis Rd/NF-55, turn right at the stop sign onto NF-9034, then turn left after the underpass onto NF-5800. Follow the road for 2.3 miles. Drive past the campground and follow the parking loop to the first bathroom and accessibility parking before a gated bridge. We will meet there, then proceed through that gate together to reach our parking site at the “old” trailhead. Look for Greenway trucks and staff.
Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass for parking
