What to Bring
COVID-19 Update: We are dedicated to keeping volunteers and event leads safe during our events. Volunteers are required to follow our COVID-19 safety guidelines, regardless of vaccination status.

In addition to our COVID-19 safety guidelines, please be prepared with the following:

For safety, volunteers are required to wear:

  • Long pants made of sturdy material
  • Sturdy, close-toed shoes
  • Gloves (provided)

In addition, we recommend that participants bring:

  • Warm layers, especially during the fall, winter, and spring
  • Rain gear
  • Snacks for breaks
  • Long sleeved shirt
  • At least one full water bottle
  • Small daypack for food, extra layers, etc…

Google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/5gNqa6XBj3y Follow I-90 E to WA-906 in Kittitas County. Take exit 54 from I-90 E towards Cold Cr./Hyak and turn left onto WA-906. In about a half mile, turn right to stay on Lake Mardee Rd. In a half mile, the road turns into NF-4832, continue straight. In a half mile, turn left onto NF-144. In another half mile, turn left onto NF-9080. The trailhead will be on your left-look for Greenway event signs and staff.
Additional Information

Gold Creek Pond is located atop the picturesque Snoqualmie Pass. The 1.0 mile loop is partially paved and has a well built boardwalk around Gold Creek Pond and offers great scenery that is ADA accessible and stroller friendly. To the north, views of the Alpine Lake Wilderness can be enjoyed while picnicing with friends and family. The Greenway has been working with the Forest Service to restore the lakeshore and contribute to the beauty Gold Creek Pond already has to offer.
