Description

Spend the day with watershed ecology Rolf Gersonde, PhD. He will help you discover the hidden connections in the forests and share how we restore biodiversity and habitat in young forests of the watershed. Explore differences in wildlife habitat and other ecosystem qualities between young and old forests in the Rex Basin. Participants must be able to hike 2-3 miles of moderate to strenuous intensity over rough terrain on and off trail.
