The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust Board of Directors brings together 60 regional leaders in conservation, government, and business across the Mountains to Sound Greenway National Heritage Area between Seattle and Ellensburg. Board members bring a diversity of experiences and perspectives  that helps inform and guide the Greenway Trust. They also play vital active roles in sustaining and broadening the coalition of organizations and stakeholders who work together to conserve the Greenway landscape, enhance ecological health, preserve regional heritage, and connect communities to nature.  

We are seeking nominations of individuals who could be strong candidates for the Greenway Trust Board of Directors. If elected, Board Members serve for a three-year term with opportunity for reelection. Nominees should have a keen interest in the Greenway Trust’s mission and share a deep commitment to our organizational values of collaboration, inclusion, positivity, pragmatism, and trustworthiness. Nominees should possess personal and/or professional experiences and perspectives that add to the diversity of the Board as a whole.  

We accept nominations throughout the year. People nominated by March 31st may be considered for election at the annual meeting each June.
