Netania Rivera (she/her or they/them) is excited to join the Restoration Crew as a crew member for the 2026 season. They grew up in Seattle, earned their BS in Environmental Science from Western Washington University in 2020, and completed the University of Washington’s Certificate in Wetland Science and Management program in 2025. Netania has worked on many restoration projects in the Snoqualmie and Cedar River watersheds, most recently with King County Noxious Weeds and Sound Salmon Solutions. Through working with the Greenway Trust, Netania is excited about planting, creating healthy riparian habitat for salmon, and restoring wetlands. In their free time, Netania enjoys sewing, writing, playing tabletop-roleplaying games with their friends, and cuddling with their cat.
