Jyanna (she/they) is excited to join the restoration team as a Restoration Crew Member for the 2026 season. She is from St. Louis, Missouri, and is working towards their degree online at the University of Arizona for Sustainable Built Environments, where she is also participating in the school’s Climate Action Campaign group. They moved from Toronto as a hair salon receptionist at the time to Bellingham back in 2023 to serve with the Washington Conservation Corps. She served for two years on a spike/trail crew. From there, they have transitioned to the Greenway to soak up as much knowledge as they can from all corners of conservation! Outside of work and school, Jyanna is currently obsessed with: reading and writing poetry, foraging, learning more about herbal medicine, listening to The Internet or Violent Vira, watching One Piece, and Facebook Marketplace.
