Greenway Trust Priority Area: Snoqualmie Valley The Mountains to Sound Greenway encompasses part of the historic route of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (the Milwaukee Road) over Snoqualmie Pass. The Milwaukee Road was once billed as the longest electrified railway in the country, and played a key role in shaping transportation routes in the Northwest.
