Restoration at the Middle Fork Natural Area: National Public Lands Day
For safety, volunteers are required to wear:
- Long pants made of sturdy material
- Sturdy, close-toed shoes
- Gloves (provided)
In addition, we recommend that participants bring:
- Warm layers, especially during the fall, winter, and spring
- Rain gear
- Big sack lunch
- Long sleeved shirt
- At least one full water bottle
- Small daypack for lunch, extra layers, etc…

We encourage you to carpool to this event – we are expecting a large number of volunteers!
From Seattle, drive east on I-90 to exit 34 (Edgewick Road). Turn left (north) onto 468th Ave SE and follow it to the junction with the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Road (Forest Road 5600). Turn right and continue up the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Road for approximately 5.5 miles to the Granite Creek trailhead parking area on the right. Look for Greenway signs and staff.
No parking pass needed on National Public Lands Day!
