Join us for a two-week summer internship for Highline Public Schools high school students, with a priority for those who live in Burien. Help restore Salmon Creek Ravine while exploring green careers and earning a stipend. No experience needed — we will provide gloves, tools, and lunch.
Join us for one or both days!
WHO: Teens ages 16-19 who live, work, or learn in Burien.
WHEN (2026) – Date will be announced soon.
WHERE – Salmon Creek Ravine in Burien. We will meet daily at the bus near the intersection of SW 120th and Ambaum Blvd SW.
BENEFITS:
- $1,200 stipend (full attendance)

- Gear Kit – Carhartt pants, boots, socks, shirts, hat, and beginner hand tools
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be comfortable being outdoors in various conditions for up to 5 hours
- Must be comfortable walking 1-3 miles across uneven terrain, bending and kneeling while performing repetitive movements during restoration activities, and lifting and transporting materials/tools
