NHA Listening Session

Join the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust for an National Heritage Area (NHA) listening session. We will be hosting virtually listening sessions via Zoom conference on the following dates:

Tuesday, April 6th, 9:30 AM – 11 AM

Thursday, April 8th, 3:30 PM – 5 PM

The listening sessions are designed to build awareness of the Greenway NHA designation; to gather input on our proposed interpretive themes; to identify stories (and storytellers) that relate to those themes; and to invite further participation in NHA planning, interpretation and projects. We hope you’ll join us to share your ideas!

The Mountains to Sound Greenway was designated as a National Heritage Area on March 12, 2019. NHA’s are places designated by Congress where historic, cultural, and natural resources combine to form cohesive, nationally important landscapes. NHA designation offers new opportunities for local communities, nonprofits, businesses and interested citizens to more effectively conserve natural resources, preserve and share cultural heritage, and contribute to the region’s economic vitality. Explore our Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about the Mountains to Sound Greenway NHA designation.
