Forests and Fins
Follow this link to register your class for a free 1-hour virtual lesson about salmon. Your students will learn about stream/forest ecology and the important role of salmon in the Pacific Northwest, including their life cycle, species, habitat needs, and threats. After listening to a story about salmon, students draw a healthy salmon stream and brainstorm ways they can help protect salmon. Forests and Fins works well for 4th-8th grade students. Please register classes separately.
