Weeds Workshop in the Teanaway Community Forest

Date & Time
Saturday, June 1, 2024 | 10-12
What You'll Be Doing
Dual perspective adds depth, so this year the Teanaway Community Forest is giving you metaphorical 3D glasses by inviting two expert or enthusiast speakers to lead each free guided event. Come join us on June 1st at the West Fork Teanaway to get some hands on learning about weed identification and disposal from Marc Eylar, Kittitas County Weed Board. He'll be joined by US Forest Service botanist Helen Lau who'll provide tips on identifying native plants and their importance in our forest. Expect a mix of walking and weeding as you put your knowledge to use!
What to Bring

Comfortable clothes and shoes for walking and weeding, and a Discover Pass for parking.
