Nestled between Squak Mountain State Park and Tiger Mountain State forest, the Children’s Garden is a beautiful spot that encompasses both the community of Issaquah and the beauty of these areas. Located along a tributary to Issaquah Creek, the Children’s Garden is a beautiful spot to enjoy nature, take a stroll along forested trails, and observe the animals that also use the area!
Volunteers will join Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust to plant native trees and shrubs throughout the Children’s Garden area to improve native habitat and connectivity along the creek between Squak and Tiger Mountains. There may also be invasive removal work to accompany the native plantings! No experience necessary, all training provided. Thank you for signing up to volunteer.
Remember to sign the online waiver, link in agenda e-mail, prior to the event. Thank you!
