Middle Fork Valley Hike
Join Mike Stenger, Recreation Projects Manager to explore the Greenway Trust’s recreation and conservation success stories in the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Valley. You’ll enjoy a refreshing walk around the Mine Creek Day Use Area and see real-world examples of how we’re balancing the valley’s healthy natural ecosystems with opportunities to safely explore this incredible wilderness. Come for the sustainable trail design, stay for the sweeping views, crisp air, and lunch to the soundtrack of a rushing river!
Difficulty: Easy
Length: 1 mile roundtrip
Elevation gain: 30 feet
We will assemble at the Meadow Shelter after the end of the Spring Breakfast Program and coordinate plans to meet at the Mine Creek Day Use Area.
Driving directions: From I-90 eastbound, take exit 34. Turn left onto 468th Ave SE. Turn right onto SE Middle Fork Rd, follow road for approx. 3 miles, continue straight (towards the right) at the fork. Follow this road for another 0.75 mile past Valley Camp. The site is on the left (north side of the road). Look for Greenway event signs and staff.
