Lake Sammamish Perch Derby

Catch a Perch, Save a Kokanee!
The Lake Sammamish Perch Derby presented by Trout Unlimited is a fishing tournament open to everyone. There will be adult and kid divisions with prizes awarded to the person catching the longest perch, the heaviest perch, and the heaviest 25 perch caught by registered anglers. The action starts at 7 AM with the final weigh in at 2 PM. Derby Headquarters will be at the Lake Sammamish Boat Launch in Lake Sammamish State Park where a Discover Pass or a daily parking/launch fee will be required. All proceeds from the derby will support the Lake Sammamish kokanee recovery work being done by the Bellevue-Issaquah Chapter of Trout Unlimited in partnership with the Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership (UWRP) and the Kokanee Work Group (KWG).
