Event Overview

Join us in the Teanaway Community Forest for a guided Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) experience on Saturday, June 14th! This event, led by Dawn Ambrose of Woodland Findings, will include an introduction to the Teanaway Community Forest and to “Forest Bathing”--a practice that encourages people to connect with the sensations of being immersed in nature. Dawn, a certified guide through the Forest Therapy School, grew up in the foothills of the Cascades and is passionate about bringing the natural world to others in her work, which you’ll get to experience for free!

Meet at the Teanaway Camping Area walk-in site parking (Discover Pass required) to check in for the event by 9:30AM with Greenway staff Vince Pruis (vince.pruis@mtsgreenway.org, 509-818-7565). Remember to bring: layers for the weather, water, and a Discover Pass for parking. No sponges required—it's not that kind of bath!
