Join the Mountains to Sound Greenway and DNR to celebrate National Public Lands Day with service! The Teanaway Community Forest is 50,241 acres of land co-managed by DNR and DFW with the input of a citizen advisory committee. There are derelict barbed wire fences cutting across the landscape that pose a danger to recreators and wildlife alike. Your project will be removing a section of derelict fencing! Meet your site lead at the West Fork turnaround and carpool to the section of fence that you’ll be pulling out. Gloves, wire cutters, and guidance will be provided on site.
