Celebrating 10 years (Doug McClelland)

Hike. Bike. Celebrate! Summer Adventure awaits!

WHERE WILL YOU BE JULY 2-10, 2011?

If your answer doesn’t involve joining in the Mountains to Sound Greenway’s 20th Anniversary celebration, it’s time to change your plans!

This summer, the Greenway landscape will host the event of a lifetime – a 9-day adventure across the Greenway, starting with the magnificent vistas of Kittitas County, and ending on the beautiful shore of Puget Sound.

Our 20th Anniversary celebration, part of Mountains to Sound Greenway Summer, has something for you!

  • Biking along the John Wayne Pioneer Trail – including the grand re-opening of the Snoqualmie Tunnel, a 2-mile train tunnel under Snoqualmie Pass! The first few days of the trip are bike-friendly!
  • Hiking across the Issaquah Alps – Cougar, Squak, Tiger and Rattlesnake Mountains. If you can’t commit to the nine days, join us for a day hike!
  • Celebrating with music, food and fun in communities along the way: Ellensburg, South Cle Elum, Snoqualmie Pass, Snoqualmie, Issaquah, Seattle.

The Greenway idea started with a hike, and now, 20 years later, we’re doing it again to raise awareness of this very special place we all enjoy in so many ways!

Join us for an event, a day hike or the whole adventureRegistration is still open, so what are you waiting for?!
