As the Volunteer Specialist, Tessa is excited to spend her work hours facilitating stewardship activities and volunteer events for the people who live, work, and play in the Greenway landscape. You will find her implementing restoration events like tree plantings, potting native species in the nursery, removing introduced species, and supporting the rest of the Greenway Team. A native New Yorker, Tessa’s career has taken her all over the country; however, she’s excited to make the Greenway landscape her new home and connect with the people who make this community so special. Outside work, you’ll find her birding, hiking, and exploring craft markets.
