With the Greenway Trust since 2024

Mikaela (she/her) is excited to return to the Greenway Trust as an Educator for the 2025 season. Mikaela grew up in Burien, Washington, and received her BA from the University of Washington, Seattle as a double major in environmental studies and dance. Before coming to the Greenway, Mikaela interned with NOAA Fisheries and worked as a naturalist with the Environmental Science Center connecting people of all ages to the outdoors. The joy she feels helping youth connect with nature brought her to the Greenway and influenced her to return for a second season. She is excited to keep exploring this passion and remain a curious learner. In her free time, Mikaela enjoys collecting mugs, re-watching sitcoms, walking the logs, and gathering sea glass at her local beaches.
