Event Overview
Join us and Birds Connect Seattle on Lake Washington Blvd for a morning bird walk (8:30-9am) and habitat restoration after! Birds Connect will lead a bird walk seeing and hearing the beautiful birds of Lake Washington, then we will work to remove Himalayan blackberry and English ivy.

Open to all ages. Participants under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
What to Bring

For safety, volunteers are required to wear:

  • Long pants made of sturdy material
  • Sturdy, close-toed shoes
  • Gloves (provided)

In addition, we recommend that participants bring:

  • Warm layers, especially during the fall, winter, and spring
  • Rain gear
  • Snacks for breaks
  • Long sleeved shirt
  • At least one full water bottle
  • Small daypack for food, extra layers, etc…

Note: This section of Lake Washington Blvd will be closed to cars during the summer. You will be able to access the parking area through S Genesee Way.
