Join us for a film festival and panel discussion about resilience in our local landscapes—then help us bring it to life!

The Mountains to Sound Greenway National Heritage (Greenway NHA) is a landscape recognized nationally for its ecological, cultural, and historical significance. Here, we are surrounded by unique ecosystems and groundbreaking projects in water conservation, restoration, and land management.

The Resilience Film Festival features 11 short videos on how communities and local organizations are restoring public lands and our relationships to them in the Greenway NHA. Following the films, there will be a panel discussion where you can ask questions of your neighbors, peers, and CWU alum who are working to advance this important work.

Give Back to Public Lands!

We also invite you to join us the following day (Saturday, September 27) for a hands-on day of service in honor of National Public Lands Day. Help build community and environmental resilience by taking part in service projects like beach cleanups, trail brushing, and improving campground infrastructure.
