Event Overview
Join the Mountains to Sound Greenway and the US Forest Service to celebrate National Public Lands Day with service! Manastash Campground, located west of Ellensburg, is due for some upgrades! Volunteers will help install brand new fire pits and picnic tables, collect trash, and brush dispersed camping areas.

Follow event signage to the designated parking area, then meet your site lead to check in and pick up your provided tools and PPE.
Difficulty
Easy to Moderate. A range of activities are available, from picking up trash to installing new picnic tables.
Age Restriction
Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
What to Bring

Bring water and snacks. The event ends at 1, and it will take almost an hour to leave the forest, so you won’t have access to other food until 2!

Wear long pants, close toed shoes, and weather-appropriate layers.

From I-90 take Exit 101 for Thorp. Travel south for 2 miles on Thorp Highway. Turn right on Cove Road and go 4 miles to Manastash Road. Turn right and follow Manastash Road, which becomes Forest Service Road 31 for 19 miles. Turn left on Forest Service Road 3104, Campground is on the right.
