Remembering Kelly Luna

Scout master, community volunteer, Snoqualmie Valley resident, and Greenway Trek leader Kelly Luna died in a skiing accident at Snoqualmie Pass on December 19th.

Kelly brought enthusiasm and joy to everything he did. On the Mountains to Sound Greenway 25th Anniversary Trek last July, participants could count on the “joke of the day” from Kelly, as well as a friendly wake up call each morning.

Kelly loved to be outdoors with his family and friends, and led many scout trips, backpacking weekends and family adventures. He was a volunteer for the Snoqualmie Valley Youth Activity Center, and an active member of Mt. Si Lutheran Church in North Bend.

Kelly is survived by his wife Beth and their children Katie, Ben and Sam.

Remembrances can be made to the the Snoqualmie Valley Youth Activity Center in memory of Kelly Luna. Contributions can be sent to P.O. Box 562, North Bend, WA 98045.

We miss you, Kelly.
