DESCRIPTION:Join us on February 6 for the annual Parks and Great Outdoors Legislative Day in Olympia\, hosted by the Washington Wildlife & Recreation Coalition and the Washington Recreation & Park Association!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour voice makes a difference! Tell your elected officials how much the outdoors matter to you\, and why they should support Washington’s #1 outdoor recreation and conservation program\, the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP). \nNewbies welcome! Anyone can advocate to legislators. We will make sure you have everything you need\, so you feel prepared when you go into your meetings. \nLegislative Day Events Include:\n—Two optional\, pre-event conference call opportunities to learn about logistics for the day and get all your questions about the events answered.\n—Day-of advocacy training focusing on how to talk with legislators.\n—Meetings with elected officials—we do the scheduling for you!\n—A reception at the Governor’s Mansion and an opportunity to mingle with legislators and local leaders in business\, recreation\, and conservation. \nLegislative Reception to follow at the Governor’s Mansion\, 5:30 PM—7:00 PM \nClick here to RSVP!
