As our tour comes to a conclusion\, you may continue on your own as the trail loops Larson Lake park. Bring your friends and family along for this free hike led by one of your local Bellevue Park Rangers. \nDistance: 1 mile. \nLevel of Difficulty: Very easy.

SUMMARY:First-time Birder Walk at Lake Hills Greenbelt
DESCRIPTION:This field trip is for the novice birder\, someone with little or no birding experience. It includes a combination of instruction and field time. Trip leaders Lori and Antonio will first cover topics such as birding etiquette\, bird identification\, using field guides\, birding apps and binoculars. Then they will lead the group on a birding trip through the park. At the conclusion\, they will discuss choosing binoculars and Q&A. This trip is a good primer before heading out on your own or joining other Audubon field trips. Bring binoculars if you have them; loaners will be available if you don’t. Children 10+ are permitted if accompanied by a parent/guardian. The trip is free but limited to 8 people\, and pre-registration is required.
