DESCRIPTION:A clean-up event in honor of Earth Day. Groups and individuals participate in a citywide Spring Clean-Up effort for Issaquah. \nYour efforts will benefit the people\, water and animals in our community. Bring a friend\, make new friends! Make a difference. If you can pick up litter\, push a broom\, swing a shovel or plant some flowers\, your help is needed. There are jobs for all ages and abilities and flexible schedules to get the work done. \nCelebrate Earth Day and help Keep Issaquah Beautiful! \nWe invite you to join us for the 7th annual citywide “Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day”. Volunteers are needed! Families\, groups and individuals\, are encouraged to spend a couple of hours making a difference in our community. Clubs\, businesses and students welcome! \nIf you can pick up litter\, push a broom\, swing a shovel and/or plant some flowers\, we need you! Refreshments will be served aftward. \nThere are jobs for all ages and abilities and flexible schedules to get the work done. \nClean up will include the following areas throughout town. (See volunteer sign up link below). \nWe’re encouraging businesses in historic downtown to do their part and cleanup of sidewalks\, flower boxes and more. Students can help and can earn their community service hours at the same time!
