SUMMARY:Trailhead Ambassador - Pete Lake
DESCRIPTION:Trailhead Ambassadors empower visitors to take care of our public lands through conversation and education. Volunteer Ambassadors serve as a welcoming presence at popular trailheads\, answer trail and trailhead related questions\, promote responsible hiker ethics like Leave No Trace\, and collect trail use information for agencies and nonprofits.  \nVolunteers should be folks who enjoy talking to people and have a familiarity with Leave No Trace. In order to participate in this event\, volunteers must take a short online training beforehand. The Kittitas Stewardship Coordinator will reach out with the training materials after volunteers register.
