SUMMARY:Trail Maintenance on Garfield Ledges (Day 3)
DESCRIPTION:Join us in maintaining this popular\, strenuous hike to sweeping views of the Middle Fork Valley! Using hand tools we will repair eroded sections of trail on this moderately steep 1.1-mile hiking route. Our tasks will include installing rock steps and drainage on steep sections of trail. We may also spend some time improving the viewing area at the end of the trail. This is the last of three planned days out at Garfield Ledges in October. You’re welcome to come for just one or collect all three! This project is on mountainous terrain and requires moderate hiking\, as the work is several hundred feet in elevation above the trailhead.
