SUMMARY:Restoration at Tanner Landing
DESCRIPTION:Tanner Landing Park is a beautiful King County Park located along the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River. This park is often referred to as the gateway to the Middle Fork Valley\, and the recreation offerings and spectacular views found there reinforce that name. There is easy river access for kayaks and rafts as well as a picnic area and fields for passive recreation. A trail along river offers visitors opportunities for viewing wildlife that frequents the area. Over the past decade\, Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust has been working with King County to restore this important riparian area by removing invasive species and planting native trees and shrubs in their place. Volunteers will continue to help these restoration efforts\, all while enjoying a great day in the park!
