SUMMARY:National Trails Day - Middle Fork Trailhead
DESCRIPTION:Join us in keeping this popular trailhead open and accessible! We will clean up picnic sites\, pick up trash\, block off and restore unsanctioned trails\, and remove encroaching vegetation around the kiosk area\, parking lot\, and connector trails. \n  \nWhat to Expect: \n  \nWe will have fun and work at our own pace during this 4-hour work party. Light-duty tasks will be available\, and no prior experience necessary. This project is on flat terrain and requires minimal hiking\, as most projects are within a few hundred yards of the trailhead. \n  \n8:30 to 9:00 AM: sign in and have refreshments at the Middle Fork Trailhead. \n  \n9:00 AM: official welcome\, following which we will make a brief hike to the work site\, for safety and project orientation. \n  \n  \n12:30 PM: we will wrap up work in time for an afterparty at the Volition Brewery in North Bend.
