SUMMARY:Middle Fork Trailhead Clean Up with Clean Up Washington
DESCRIPTION:Join Clean Up Washington in making strides towards a litter-free trailhead. With a natural resource as valuable as the Middle Fork\, we want to do everything possible to keep the area beautiful\, and to teach Leave No Trace principles to prevent issues like this in the future. \nThe Middle Fork of the Snoqulamie River Valley is a treasure for anyone living in or visiting the greater Seattle area. A person seeking a day of adventure could leave downtown Seattle and\, in less than an hour’s time\, reach the gateway to pristine Cascades wilderness in the Middle Fork Valley. From there\, that person could set out on any of dozens of trails leading to mountain peaks\, hidden lakes\, or old-growth forests. From the Middle Fork Valley\, there are several ways to access the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. \nDedicated volunteers from Clean Up Washington will be working on picking up trash and removing unsanctioned fire rings from the trailhead and nearby areas. They would love your help! Volunteers will be provided the necessary tools to complete this work.  \nThank you. Please remember there is no cell reception at the Middle Fork Trailhead and plan accordingly.
