SUMMARY:Let's get Organized! Nursery Edition
DESCRIPTION:The Greenway Native Plant Nursery is home to nearly 30\,000 native trees and shrubs. From the very start of their journey with the Greenway Trust\, these trees are cared for by volunteers. At the nursery\, volunteers pot these trees and shrubs\, and after they have grown in our nursery for about two years\, volunteers will plant these plants again\, this time in their final homes in urban forests\, parks\, and open spaces throughout the Greenway landscape.  \nThis week\, we are looking to gather a small group of volunteers with strong attention to detail and who think organizing is FUN! Which\, at the nursery\, it is! We will be organizing our current plant rows to ensure we are ready to host 10\,000 new potted plants this year. This will involve lots of moving plants\, clearing debris\, and organizing plant rows.  \nRemember to sign the e-waiver online before the event (link in agenda e-mail). Also\, we are now offering Discovery Pass vouchers for volunteers at all events in Lake Sammamish State Park — 24 hours in a year qualifies you for a free pass! Ask us at the event for more information.  \nThis is a fun event for everyone – no experience necessary – and we are looking forward to organizing with you.
