SUMMARY:Lake Sammamish Master Plan Update
DESCRIPTION:The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission has begun a planning project for Lake Sammamish State Park in King County. The project will update the park’s Redevelopment and Restoration Concept Plan\, which was adopted by the Commission in 2007. State Parks will consider whether the facilities proposed in the 2007 plan are still appropriate for the park and also whether any additional facilities should be considered. \nState Parks is also partnering with the City of Issaquah to analyze the environmental implications of the projects that are ultimately included in a revised master plan. This analysis will be in the form of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Additionally\, State Parks will develop cost estimates and a phasing plan for the projects that are included in the revised plan. \nThe planning process will include multiple public meetings as well as other opportunities for the public to provide input throughout the process. The project is expected to be completed in 2019. \nClick here to provide input \nCONTACT INFORMATION\nNikki Fields\, Parks Planner \nEmail Nikki Fields\nP.O.
