DESCRIPTION:Get your (gloved) hands dirty at Lake Sammamish State Park and take part in habitat restoration that will support native plant growth and provide a healthy habitat for wildlife! Join Swan Phongwarinr\, Volunteer Coordinator\, for a hands-on volunteer experience where you’ll remove noxious weeds that outcompete for nutrients\, or damage\, the success of native plants in the area. This is an essential\, and ongoing\, part of any habitat restoration project and will contribute to the long-term stewardship of our recently completed in-stream restoration project in Issaquah Creek.
