SUMMARY:Gear up for Mailbox Gear Haul
DESCRIPTION:The new trail up Mailbox Peak was built by Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust and  the WA State Department of Natural Resources to create a more sustainable and usable trail up to the peak. Since the opening\, more and more users are able to access the beautiful views atop the peak. The new trail still needs some finishing touches\, which will be completed by Greenway's professional trail crews this summer.  \nAt this event\, volunteers will help haul bridge materials up the well loved Mailbox Peak trail. If you like carrying heavy objects and collaborating with other volunteers to move trail maintenance materials uphill\, this is the event for you. \nThis will be an informal event. Volunteers will meet Greenway leads at the trailhead\, sign in and receive instruction before heading up the trail. Volunteers may hike up the trail without supervision\, thus youth should have a parent or guardian accompany them on this activity*. Day of hikers are also welcome and encouraged to help out!  \n*All youth under the age of 14 years old must always have a parent or guardian accompany them on trail events.
