SUMMARY:Garfield Ledges Trail Maintenance
DESCRIPTION:We will continue maintenance work on the Garfield Ledges trail. The upper half mile of trail has experienced erosion over time\, so we will be working to install and improve drainage\, restore impacted areas\, and keep the trail in good shape for years to come! We may also continue or complete restoration efforts on the overlook if time allows. Tasks will include digging with handtools\, cutting back brush with hand saws or loppers\, blocking off social trails\, and moving rocks and other materials. The Garfield Ledges trail is a fairly short trail (just under a mile long)\, but can be quite steep in places\, so be prepared for an uphill hike to get to the project.
