SUMMARY:Garfield Ledges Trail Build: National Public Lands Day
DESCRIPTION:Help us complete the Garfield Ledges Trail\, the newest scenic vista trail in the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Valley. When finished the trail will wind gently through mature second growth forest on the western slope of the Middle Fork Valley's most iconic peak\, Mount Garfield. Volunteers will help build rock retention structures\, fill in and define trail surfaces\, and cut back obstacles in the trail surface. *PLEASE NOTE: VOLUNTEERS FOR THIS TRAIL PROJECT MUST BE 14 OR OLDER* Hosted by the Washington Trails Association\, Pacific Crest Trail Association\, and the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust Followed by the REI Co-op Cheers for Volunteers celebration at the Middle Fork Campground
